About Sea Dogs Pvt Ltd
Sea Dogs Pvt Ltd was established in Sep 2009 with the primary aim of providing management and maintenance solutions to ship owners. We commenced operations with Dredging and Diving Operations and soon entered the domain of ship repair and maintenance involving hull work, fabrication, engineering and electrical aspects
- In 2017, we diversified into Water and Waste Water Management
- In 2022, we developed a RoV for cleaning sub sea/under water pipelines
- In 2022, we also entered into salvage operations
- In 2023, we leased the Shipyard and commenced Ship repairs.
- In 2025, we commenced construction of our first vessel, a 900 T tanker
The Directors of the company
Commodore Arun Singh (Retd)
Commodore Arun Singh is an alumnus of the National Defence Academy with over 25 years of service in the Indian Navy, including command of a minesweeper and an anti-submarine warfare corvette, and a tenure as Executive Officer of an aircraft carrier. He holds a postgraduate qualification in Defence Management from the Defence Services Staff College, Wellington, and completed a Certificate Course in Business Management at IIM Ahmedabad following his premature retirement from the Navy. A specialist in missile and weapon systems, he represented India in several international fora and planned joint tactical exercises with the navies of the United States, United Kingdom, France, and neighbouring countries. In September 2009, he founded Sea Dogs Pvt Ltd, applying his operational and defence management background to build the company’s marine contracting, salvage, and shipbuilding capabilities.
Mrs Ruth Singh
Ruth brings extensive experience in HR advisory and executive coaching, having worked with organisations across financial services, FMCG, manufacturing, and retail. As Director, she is responsible for Sea Dogs’ organisational strategy, HR policy, talent management, and compensation frameworks — building the institutional systems that support the company’s operational growth. She is a certified Executive, Life, and Career Coach.
Mr Deepak Thakur
Deepak, a Marine Master First Class, is a Director of Sea Dogs Pvt Ltd, holding responsibility for engineering solutions on the company’s most technically demanding projects. He led the ground-up development of the Hydrobot, the robotic platform underpinning Sea Dogs’ robotic dredging and desilting operations — a proprietary capability that distinguishes the company from conventional dredging contractors.
